For the Freelander 1 TD4 with BMW 2L engine, choose a Synergy 2 (2a) or one of the two special offers that save you money. You'll receive everything shown in the adjacent images as well as fitting instructions and settings guide
The older L series powered Freelander needs a Synergy 4 that will liven it up no end. (not compatible with any dash switches or mafs)
For the Freelander 2 choose a Synergy 3 and also one of the optional dash switches.
A Synergy 3c TD5 gives a worthwhile improvement to the Defender & Discovery 2.5L 5cylinder engine, particularly the later models with ecu controlled turbo. It also features signal limiters to prevent fuel cutting when you make other mods such as remap, vnt turbo etc.
The Discovery and Defender 2.2 tdci needs a Synergy 3 as do all the V6 Discos.
DPF PROBLEMS?
Did you know that a clogged DPF can be cleaned for ~£100.
The DPF uses a catalyst and these can be cleaned of soot and ash to restore close to new performance. Chemicals are injected directly into the DFP - none are added to the fuel, oil, or intake.
Visit the DPF-Doctor to find your nearest agent.
They'll do a diagnostic test to check for any possible other faults and then report on the % clogging and ash levels before and after the cleaning.
