BMW & MINI

For your BMW or Mini we offer all four Synergy modules, depending on year & model. Please choose using the guide below:

525TDS 2.5L 6cyl ~140bhp , pre common rail, Synergy 4, no dash switch option. Not 100% plug-in.

BMW's with a VP44 pump and 136bhp - sorry nothing available for these.

Common rail diesels from 1999-2005 with 4 or 6 cylinder, Eg E53, E46 etc - with 5pin maf sensor - we recommend a Synergy 2, or for a modest result or for enhancing a remap, a Synergy 1. If the maf has 4pins, then its a Synergy 3 with the map sensor 1 in the photo. Dash switches supported.

From 2005, when most models switched to a 4pin maf sensor, you need instead, a Synergy 3 or Synergy 1 if a modest result is adequate or you want to boost the low down & mid range torque with a remap. Dash switches supported. The map sensor should be like map sensor 2.

All units except the Synergy 4 are plug-in fitting with no wiring mods, and take about 10-20mins to fit depending on module and vehicle.

PLEASE CHOOSE THE MAP SENSOR TYPE BEFORE CHECKING OUT. Please note the current Synergy 1,2 & 3 look slightly different (no spindle sticking out) but features and functionality are the same.

The chart below shows the results from fitting a Synergy 1 to a 320D. A Synergy 2 or 3 would give a better result, especially if your maf was out of spec.
