ADJUSTABLE BOOST GAUGE KIT INCLUDING 40MM GAUGE.

A COST EFFECTIVE & EASY WAY TO INCREASE TORQUE.

Enables you to adjust the boost pressure of a wastegate turbo and monitor the pressure with a dash or bracket mounting 40mm pressure gauge. (non illuminated).

WORKS WITH ECU (with no pressure control) AND NON ECU TURBO DIESELS.*

Kit comprises:

  • rear entry mechanical gauge – appearance may vary.
  • adjustable bleed valve with tee for gauge. Type may vary.
  • tubing for gauge + hose clips.
  • Hose adaptor for the gauge.

You should use this kit in conjunction with our Synergy 4V3 tuning box as more fuel is ne eded for the best results AND on settings 3,4,5, the built in map limiter prevents the ecu detecting an increased boost pressure. Otherwise you may need a Digibooster 1 on engines with electronic injection.

* On some VW 2.5tdi T4 vans, there is an ecu controlled N75 valve fitted with the map sensor inside the ecu. These require a different connection method whereby the bleed valve is fitted in the tube to the ecu to reduce the pressure it ‘sees’. It will then allow the boost to rise higher before activating the N75 valve.

E.g. The 102bhp ACV engined T4s run at 10-11psi from over 2000rpm (not much below 2000rpm), and benefit greatly with 15-17psi which peaks at the same rpm, meaning that the original 11psi now happens around 1800rpm and with a Synergy 4 installed, driveability is vastly improved.
