THIS VERSION IS FOR MECHANICALLY or ELECTRONICALLY INJECTED ENGINES AND IS THE FULL KIT COMPRISING CONTROLLER, 30psi PRESSURE SENSOR (45+PSI OPTIONAL) AND PIERBURGH BOOST CONTROL VALVE + OPTIONAL THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR.

The DGB SM is a standalone vnt turbo controller which directly drives your boost control solenoid. Supplied with some tubing, a tee for the brake servo line, Pierburgh boost control valve and a remote map sensor which operates upto 2bar/30psi bar of boost. Alternatively at small extra cost, you can choose a remote 4bar sensor. (please note, the sensors are not interchangeable)

Requires a turbo with a vacuum actuator or an electronic actuator replaced with a vacuum type.

THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TP S)

A TPS connection is also provided which gives multi stage vane control dependent on throttle position with the option of opening the vanes on zero throttle to reduce back pressure when using the higher boost setting range.

A suitable TPS is available as shown in the photos and will just plug into the DGBS wiring harness. You'll need to devise a suitable linkage from the injection pump throttle shaft. For engines with an ecu just connect the green wire to your existing TPS.

NB YOU CANNOT CHANGE FROM A 2 TO A 4BAR SENSOR (or vice versa) AT A LATER DATE BECAUSE THE 4BAR TYPE IS AN INDUSTRIAL ONE AND THE DGBS NEEDS HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE MODS TO SUPPORT IT. These mods are not compatible with automotive sensors.

OVER BOOST BLOCKER.

This option is for engines with an ecu and existing map sensor to stop the ecu cutting the fuel when the boost pressure is raised. WE MUST KNOW THE TYPE OF EXISTING MAP SENSOR SO WE CAN FIT THE CORRECT CONNECTORS. The cable for this connects between your map sensor and it's plug so this means there will be an extra cable to connect, hence the modest extra cost. Switches 1 and 2 set the limiter threshold - about 3.7 or 4v.
