  • Switchable hot start helper so its there if you need it now or in the future
  • Adjustable hot start helper– if you need to use, you can adjust the extra fuel mount for 20seconds during cranking to aid starting when the injection pump is worn or one or more heater plugs are weak to aid cold starting.
  • Selectable & adjustable off boost enrichment for weak injection pumps - *** new from 29/1/19 ***
  • Socket for optional illuminated dash push button 'Sport Switch.which gives an extra performance boost when needed eg for overtaking, towing or setting off up a steep hill or as an Eco/Sport or Eco/towing switch. Now with separate adjustment. A new 18mm square illuminated pushbutton is now available as an option, pre wired for plugging into the socket on the rear of the Synergy 4. See image.
  • HOT START HELPER. The hot start helper gives extra fuel for the first 20seconds of cranking. Settings 6 & 7 enable this feature and the amount of extra fuel is now adjustable to allow for variations in pump wear.

    OFF BOOST ENRICHMENT Three of the 8 settings (3,4,5) now provide adjustable off boost enrichment. This increases the output of worn injection pumps to improve performance when setting off and also means the turbo cuts in lower down the rev range. You can adjust the extra fuelling using the HSF control. Also helps with poor hot starting.

OPTIONAL DASH SWITCH. Lift off the accelerator momentarily before pushing or releasing the button. The extra fuel is adjustable. For best mpg, leave the button out most of the time.

Choose either the red led black body 'sport' switch which boosts the torque when pressed in.

"I recently enquired about one of your tuning boxes and any positive effect to mpg on a 2.5 Range Rover dse 2000 to which you replied you had no feedback in regards to mpg increases.

Anyway I bought one of your boxes and fitted it, attached it and the mpg figure I got on a regular run was roughly 60 miles m25 and London driving (sensibly and cruise control at 70 on M way). This is a massive increase of around 7 mpg if not more, around 20%. Even if I run round town constantly, its a 2.5 mpg increase. So thanks very much, I now have a 13-year-old car 131000 miles and still returns 34 mpg from a 2.5 6cyl engine. Couldnt be happier. "
"Hiya Ron got my box 02/02 fitted it 03/02 I've furred a few so called " super chip" boxs in my time and they are shall we say ok, put your module on my 97 p38 all I can say is holy sh*t, didn't realise my brakes were that bad. For the VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda 1.9tdi 90/110, and 2.5tdi 5cyl please check the injection pump multiplug - it's 30cm or so from the pump. We need to know whether it has 8 or 10pins (not all positions have a wire) and also whether the map sensor (on the intercooler outlet or hose) has 4pins or is the old rectangular 3pin type.

PLEASE NOTE, the multiplug on VAG tdis may only be accessible from under the vehicle as it is often under the injection pump so not visible from above and will require under tray removal. 100% plug in fitting - no wires to cut or join.

For the Volvo 2.5TDI with the 5cyl Audi engine, there is an 8pin multiplug about 20cm from the injection pump (access is tight) . The other cable plugs into the 3pin map sensor. 100% plug in fitting - NO wires to cut or join.

The 300tdi model fits the Discovery and Defender 2.5L 4cyl models and needs 2 wires connecting near the injection pump plug.

RANGER 2.5TD, L200, SHOGUN, PAJERO, L SERIES XDI, RANGER P38 require 2 wires piggy backing onto the injection pump wiring - instructions supplied. Once this short cable is fitted, the Synergy is then 100% plug in or removal.
