HIGH QUALITY VP TUNING MODULE FOR THE OLDER LANDROVERS: FITS BOTH AUTO AND MANUAL, WITH OR WITHOUT EGR VALVE.

FREELANDER 1 XDI WITH L SERIES 98BHP ROVER ENGINE.

ROVER SDI - 200/400/600 L series 105bhp engine. [NOT FOR THE ZR/Z2/25/45 only a Digimafam is available for these.]

The Synergy 4bV3 (aka Ronbox 4) is a 2channel digital tuning module with 8 settings for non common rail engines.

Requires 2 wires attaching to the injection pump wiring and a cable plugging into the map sensor. Full instructions supplied. You will be surprised by the results:-

FROM Feb 2020 the V3 version, an additional adjuster for the sport switch effect has been added. A new 18mm square illuminated pushbutton is now available as an option, pre wired for plugging into the socket on the rear of the Synergy 4. See image.
HOT START HELPER. The hot start helper gives extra fuel for the first 20seconds of cranking. Settings 6 & 7 enable this feature and the amount of extra fuel is now adjustable to allow for variations in pump wear.

OFF BOOST ENRICHMENT. Three of the 8 settings (3,4,5) now provide adjustable off boost enrichment. This increases the output of worn injection pumps to improve performance when setting off and also means the turbo cuts in lower down the rev range. You can adjust the extra fuelling using the HSF control.
OPTIONAL IN-CABIN EXTENSION CABLES

Owners who do serious off-roading often wish to install the Synergy module in the cabin. This option consists of extension cables but without the connectors attached to the engine end. You drill or find a 15-20mm hole through the bulkhead, thread the three thin cables through from in the cabin and then fit the connectors. (the terminals and seals are pre fitted). The Synergy 4 itself has standard cables which remain inside the cabin (but this does mean you can fit it in the engine bay to try before installing the extensions)

OPTIONAL DASH SWITCH. Requires 19mm hole and has a black body and red led. Lift off the accelerator momentarily before pushing or releasing the button. The extra fuel is now adjustable. For best mpg, leave the button out most of the time.

Filip later adjusted the wastegate to increase the boost pressure a few psi for even better results.

  • Optional push button 'sport' switcch. Just plugs into the socket on the Synergy and is prewired with 3m of cable. Needs 12mm hole through firewall and 20mm hole in dashs/centre console/steering column cowl etc.
  • Ya need one as described A+ awesome bit of kit.
