The Synergy 1 is a superb, low cost single channel digital tuning module common rail diesels from 1999 to 2016
.
This version has been specifically designed for use with motorhomes and vans where low down and midrange torque is more important than top end bhp. Fuel consumption improvement is also a higher priority.
Quick & easy to fit to most vehicles. 10 settings, on/off switch and socket for optional dash switch. Transferable to other vehicles (£10-£40) & also upgradable to a Synergy 2 or 3 (£59.95, not within 12months of purchase)
NB fitting on the Citroen & Peugeot 1.4/1.6tdci/hdi engine found in the Romahomes and similar is not easy and may require some dismantling of the intake ducts to allow access to the fuel rail which is down the back of the engine with the sensor on the gearbox end, under the fuel filter.
Produces a smooth power and torque increase usually from below 1500rpm, with improved throttle response, reduced turbo lag and more effortless progress.
Suitable for automatic and manual gearboxes.

^ Lighter day vans and high top motorhomes don't usually work their engines as hard as in Coachbuilt and A Class models, so a Synergy 3 could be more suitable for them if you want max possible performance. But a Synergy 1 is great for heavy or fully loaded vans towing a trailer, which will still give a significant improvement - 20-25% bhp and 25-30% torque.
PLEASE NOTE for vehicles with the 2L hdi/JTD 8valve 84-110bhp engines in both Citroen, Fiat and Peugeot vans/motorhomes, and cars we need to know whether the fuel rail label states Bosch or Siemens as the cable wiring is different. Leave a note in the box on the basket screen please. See photo.
DPF PROBLEMS?
Did you know that a clogged DPF can be cleaned for ~£100.
The DPF uses a catalyst and these can be cleaned of soot and ash to restore close to new performance. Chemicals are injected directly into the DFP - none are added to the fuel, oil, or intake.
Visit the DPF-Doctor to find your nearest agent.
They'll do a diagnostic test to check for any possible other faults and then report on the % clogging and ash levels before and after the cleaning.
